Film Production: The Jobs of a Screenwriter, Director, and Producer
Objective: To teach students what are the jobs of a screenwriter, director, and producer during the production of a film.
Procedure
1. Introduction
2. Explain what a screenwriter does.
3. Explain what a film director does.
4. Explain what a producer and executive producer does
5. End
Check for understanding: Ask the audience what are the difference between the jobs especially between a producer and exectuive producer after presentation.
Resources/materials: Visuals (Collages of pictures that relate to each job)
Too vague. Teach students how to read a script, like we talked about.
